In the 1600s, a French Mathematician, Blaise Pascal said:
“All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone."
I think he hit the nail on the head. But why?
Why is this stillness so important for mankind?
Because it starts with the individual. The individual is on a journey to better understand theirselves and their connection to something bigger than themselves… mankind.
When you sit in stillness you cultivate awareness of your thoughts, core values, behaviors, reactions your visions of the future.
You begin to develop a deep sense of self love, connection and compassion for all. (including yourself).
Your core values and passions are embedded in your words and you speak from a place of love and peace. You become more powerful and impactful.
In fact, so powerful you don’t need to scream. You just need to speak.
Your conviction to your purpose amplifies your voice louder than ever.
So this week. Sit in silence.
In this silence be brave and open to what passes through your mind and what you feel in your heart.
Then after 15 minutes, write down what passes though but not a moment before.
Please comment below your thoughts and experiences.
